The bold yellow and green botanical lemon illustrations featured on our Brittany Apron are classic drawings of this wonderfully tart fruit, likely draw from Edward’s Botanical Register, a classic horticultural magazine that was published from 1815-1847 in London. 

Botanical art has deep roots in the kitchen—from Ancient Greece to England’s rich plant history, even inspiring Thomas Jefferson, who called botany “the most valuable of the sciences” - and we love this classic apron pattern that never goes out of style.

SOFT LINING. Have you noticed most aprons are unlined and unfinished on the back? Not ours! We've added custom touches that will make your apron the most comfortable one you've ever had - like adding a cotton/poly blend lining inside the pockets and on the back so that the apron lays flat and feels smooth against your body. It also displays beautifully. Since an apron often hangs in a public space in your home or office, we want it to look just as amazing as the area you've spent time creating does.

POCKETS. Everyone loves them! We've added three sturdy lined cotton canvas pockets—a top pocket for glasses, pen or spoons, plus spacious bottom pockets for your phone, recipes, clips or tools.

WIDER STRINGS. In our aprons you'll never have mangled, twisted strings that get bunched up or get tied into impossible knots. We use cotton webbing so you'll never have that issue. We've made the neck fully adjustable and attached the strings to hit you at your leanest and most flattering curve, no matter what your size or body shape.

PERFECT FIT. We've modified the length to mid-thigh so you have freedom of movement at your workbench, station or island. The apron covers you where you need it most, protects your clothes at counter height and doesn't touch the ground when you lean over to open the oven.

MAGIC SIZING. If you can believe it, our design fits most body types! We've added cotton strings long enough to tie in front or back that also have "magic sizing" to fit XS-1X. And if you need a larger size, make sure you check out our custom apron options.

SPOT CLEANING is great to keep your apron lasting longer—after all, they're made to be the superhero and protect your clothes from drips and spills. So you do not have to wash your apron each time you use it.

Your apron is also MACHINE WASH FRIENDLY. Our aprons are made from natural materials, so treat stains and toss them in cold water when needed. Pro tip: use a mesh bag to keep the strings together, then hang dry or use a gentle dryer setting. Skip the full dryer cycle to avoid shrinking the apron and strings. Cotton and canvas can wrinkle, especially with today's efficiency washers, so once dry a quick press with a steam iron will smooth everything out.
