Brittany Apron
The lovely vintage botanical illustration of lemons, their leaves and flowers on this apron fabric is likely from Edward's Botanical Register, an horticultural magazine that ran from 1815-1847 published in London. While botanical illustration began in Ancient Greece, and England is known for their detailed botanical histories, our own Thomas Jefferson also studied and illustrated many plants in America and called botany "the most valuable of the sciences." As gardeners, we agree!
